JP's is Back (and better than ever!)

Growing up in Nottingham, I traveled through Durham from time-to-time, but it wasn't until I chose the University of NH that I started spending substantial time here. Back then, 38 Main Street was the home of JP's Eatery and their famous burger eating challenge. Since then, I have graduated from UNH three times, moved away from Durham, moved back to Durham, and JP's Eatery and their burger eating challenge became a distant memory.

Until now that is. JP's is back and better than ever! Let's give a warm welcome to JP's Grill! Over the past decade the space at 38 Main Street has undergone some renovations and JP's Grill looks much different than the JP's in the past, but I for one am happy to have a nearby fix for my steak and cheese cravings!

The menu at JP's Grill is classic sandwich shop: hot and cold subs, chicken tender baskets, roast beef sandwiches, salads, sides, and steak and cheese subs. It's the spot in Durham for when you want something fast and filling. Or, if being able to order online is a priority for you!

I have yet to stray from the Mushroom Steak (it's really good) and yet to remember to take a picture of my food, but luckily JP's online presence is full of delicious looking food photos, like the below shot of their Italian sub (left) or their famous roast beef sandwich.

Visit JP's on Facebook, on the web, or, even better, in person at 38 Main Street! Located in a space that has seen a lot of turnover in the past decade, here's to hoping JP's is here to stay this time.
